I'm sure you've already heard of these books but here's the two that really changed how I think about promoting. If you've read them, I'd love to hear your thoughts, since you're obviously better at promoting than I am:

1. Trust Me, I'm Lying by Ryan Holiday

2. Hit Makers, by Derek Thompson.

Also, please keep up these posts. I find them insightful, both as a how-to, and getting to know you better.

Trust Me, I'm Lying is one of my all-time favorites. There's so much in there that I still think about some of the tactics in that book on a regular basis.

But I haven't read (or heard of) Hit Makers). I just requested it from the library. Can't wait to check it out.

And I definitely will keep these posts coming. Thanks for your kind feedback. I'm really glad you're enjoying them!

Thanks for taking time writing the posts and I hope you and your family are safe & well in LA. My questions is you can't predict the tipping point, right? It's in retrospect.

Great question. Yeah, you never really know, but even today, I feel like I am still pushing boulders up unending steep hills.

Sometimes, they happen seemingly overnight and out of nowhere - like this example. But other times, they can come from the accumulation of lots of consistent work. I'm going to talk about that in the next e-mail!

I can tell it's the consistency, accountability, resilience and passion for creation from both of you and Adrienne lead to the success of the channel, and overall, life. Thanks for the inspiration! FYI, I just bought Gladwell's <Revenge of the tipping point> today.
